YOUTH & SCHOOL
I just wanted to take a minute and personally thank everyone who was involved in helping plan our senior class trip this year. Today, at 8:15am we departed the high school with a busy schedule ahead of us, many (especially Mrs. Sintros) nervous about what was to come at our first stop: the zip-lines. Needless to say, I think everyone involved had a great time in Lincoln - an action packed morning full of some great zip-lining courtesy of our friends at Alpine Adventures, relaxing and eating lunch at the base camp, walking around downtown Lincoln, visiting the Old Man of the Mountain & Echo Lake, getting ice cream, Clarks Bears, and more...attached a picture of the sign that welcomed us when we arrived in Lincoln - how cool!

Alpine Adventures has a special program for youth groups and schools to help encourage community service and citizenship.
With certain date restrictions, we offer 1/2 price zipline canopy tours and off-road
safari tours to any school, youth group, camp, etc. that conducts a community service
project in their own community and can provide us with a letter of thanks to the kids
from the group that they have helped with their efforts. We want to be the reward for
young people & thank them for helping out their own community, in the hope that it will
encourage them to serve their community in the future.
This can be any type of community or environmental service project such as trash clean up, visit a retirement home, help the homeless and fundraising. We want you to be creative and determine what would best serve your community and create a meaningful experience for the kids. Alpine Adventures must however, approve the community service project before your group reserves with us and projects conducted in the past are not eligible.
If your group is unable to participate in our community service program, we will still give you the best group rate we can based on the season and size of your group. To receive a quote or discuss your group adventure, submit this form to get started.
Hello Staff of Alpine Adventures,
Just wanted to send a quick email to tell you that our Outing Club from Belmont High School had an AWESOME time on the ziplines yesterday. Everyone in our group gave it great reviews. The lines were a lot of fun, and your staff was great to us, too. Please feel free to forward along any emails you might send out with updates about new services you are offering (night-time rides?). Thanks again.

I wanted to say a very sincere thank you for working with our summer camp this year to make the zip line adventure fun and affordable for our camp. You folks have a well run, very safe program and I'm sure your planned expansion will just add to your popularity. We had approximately 66 campers take advantage of this activity and the feedback we got from the kids was fantastic. Even kids who initially had reservations because of their fear of heights gave the trip a big "thumbs-up".

What a great idea! Neighbors In Need fights hunger at the local level by serving poor and hungry families of Greater Lawrence, 11 food pantries each week, strategically located in the neighborhoods of Lawrence and Methuen. We are dependent on over 350 volunteers who sort, pack, lug, hold food drives and work in our office and shop. We had a group of 8 girls from the Andover Youth Service team for a couple of hours on Sat Dec 20 sorting food and preparing food for our Christmas meal distribution...They did a great job! We expect to provide turkey/ham and all the fixings for over 600 families for Christmas....thank you for your generosity to those who serve others!"
